Preschool & Toddler Programs

(for children ages 18 months through age 5)

Our program runs year round Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (8 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for toddlers aged 18 months to age three). We offer small groups sizes and low ratios. We are a State of Ohio licensed program and a complete program description can be found in our Parent Handbook.

Tuition

As a mission of the church our program is partially financed by the church and the weekly discounted tuition for all families is $ 166.00 for preschoolers and $ 192.00 for toddlers. There are no additional fees for registration, food, or field trips. Children receive breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch daily. Toddlers do not go on field trips and preschoolers go on field trips to places such as Burger Farm, the Cincinnati Zoo, and during the school year trips to the local library. We do not offer daily rates; therefore, tuition is due each week regardless of absent days or days we close. We close eight days each year for holidays as listed in our Parent Handbook.

To Enroll

At least one parent and the child must schedule a tour; please allow an hour for the visit. Call the director, Greg Windle, at (513) 324-2618 to schedule a tour.

Program Description (please see the Parent Handbook for a complete description)

We provide an emotionally safe environment for children to learn cognitively, and to gain self-control, problem solving and nurturing skills. This is largely achieved by recognizing that children should have logical consequences verses punishment. For example, should a child take a toy from another child, the logical consequence is for the child to leave the area and find another area to play. We find when logical consequences verses punishments (i.e., time out when used in front of peers) are used, a calm and emotionally safe environment for making mistakes and learning and growing in is created.

Although religion is not part of our curriculum, we do offer a non-denominational religion program as a way of further sharing and appreciating our differences. Children do not have to attend this program, which is offered for preschool and pre-kindergarten children only. The group meets for about one-half hour twice a month (except during summers).

Facility

The center is located in the church facility and we have an outdoor playground, indoor gym play areas (one for preschoolers and one for toddlers) and class rooms. Children eat all meals in class rooms and preschoolers nap in a separate nap room and toddlers nap in their classroom.
