After School Program

After School Program

School-Age After-School Program

(Children must be in grade kindergarten or above to enroll in our after-school program.)

Our After-School Program runs throughout the school year (August through May) Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. We limit group size to 16 – 18 children. We are a State of Ohio licensed program and a complete program description can be found in our Parent Handbook.

Tuition

As a mission of the church our program is partially funded by the church and discounted tuition for all families includes all meals (snack for after-school, and breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch for when children attend all day) – at no additional fee. Tuition for the 2019–20 school year is $58.00 per week. A full-day program is provided during the school year when schools are closed for snow days, teacher conferences, Spring/Christmas breaks etc., at no additional charge. We do not offer daily rates; therefore, tuition is due each week regardless of absent days or days we are closed. We close eight days each year for holidays, as listed in the Parent Handbook.

To Enroll

At least one parent and the child must take a tour. To schedule a tour call the director, Greg Windle, at (513) 324-2618.

Program Description (please see the Parent Handbook for a complete description)

As a non-religious educational program, our after-school program is designed to provide a small group of children a comfortable and welcoming place to spend time after school. The children have a snack together, do homework, and of course play. We pick children up from Annunciation Catholic and Fairview-Clifton German Language schools and walk back to the center. Children from other schools may be dropped off to us by an escort.

Field Trips

When children attend all day, the group often walks to Burnet Woods or Skyline for lunch or Graeter’s for ice cream.

Facility

Located at the church facility we have a playground, indoor gym play area, and a large class room with specialized centers including game, manipulative, dramatic play, science, library, TV/DVD, and block areas, and a large area for special art activities, lunches and snacks.
